Green Day : l'album "Dookie" inscrit au registre national de la Bibliothèque du Congrès américain

C'est un privilège très convoité depuis sa création en 2000. Chaque année, la Bibliothèque du Congrès américain sélectionne 25 projets musicaux afin de les inscrire dans le registre national. Pour son édition 2024, le National Recording Registry a fait part de sa sélection le 16 avril dernier. Parmi les lauréats cette année, "Ready to Die" de The Notorious B.I.G., "Arrival" du groupe ABBA, mais également "Dookie" du groupe californien de punk rock Green Day.

Say whaaattttt? Dookie has been inducted into the National Recording Registry at the Library of Congress!! What an honor!
