Taylor Swift: her "The Eras Tour" named "tour of the century"
Mercredi 19 Mars 2025
She may not have much musical news in 2025, but at the same time, we can understand: Taylor Swift (to be enjoyed in moderation in the Pop Queens by Allzic playlist) has just spent two years traveling around the globe to fulfill the dates of her "The Eras Tour". A tour that has broken all records, both in terms of audience numbers and revenue generated, with two billion dollars at stake. It's no coincidence that the tour was just named the tour of the century at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
And at this ceremony, Taylor Swift cleaned up a large portion of the awards. Besides the one for her tour, she also won the title of Artist of the Year, as well as Album of the Year for The Tortured Poets Department. Additionally, her Swifties - her most dedicated fans - rallied en masse to help her win more awards. She can thus complete her awards collection with the title for Best Lyrics and Best Music Video for her song Fortnight, the Best Screen Broadcast for her concert film The Eras Tour, Best Style for The Eras Tour, Best Tour Tradition for the surprise songs from The Eras Tour, and Best Surprise Guest for the appearance of her boyfriend Travis Kelce during a concert.
Although the singer was not present at the ceremony, she took the opportunity to share two little surprises with her fans: an exclusive video of the recording of a surprise song, "Mirrorball", filmed during the very first concert of "The Eras Tour", as well as a thank-you video, with her awards in hand. Congratulations to her, while we await future announcements, which the Swifties are already eagerly anticipating!
